At 25, rue de Helmdange, Trend House is giving a new life to an old farmhouse by transforming it into a contemporary residence with 6 apartments.

The project has a clear objective: to preserve the identity and history of the existing building while creating homes that meet today’s standards of comfort and quality of life.

Part of the old building will be preserved in its existing form, while another part will be completely rebuilt. This approach preserves the spirit and proportions of the original building while creating a contemporary, functional and coherent architectural design.

The new residence will offer 6 apartments with 1 to 2 bedrooms, ranging from approximately 40 to 81 m². Each apartment is designed to provide pleasant and bright living spaces, with balconies or terraces depending on the apartment.

The architecture combines light-coloured façades, slate-covered pitched roofs and contemporary elements, creating a dialogue between the rural character of the old farmhouse and the requirements of modern living.

The project also includes private cellars, a bicycle storage room, a waste room and the necessary technical areas for the residence.

Preserving the Past, Creating for the Future

Transforming an old farmhouse instead of starting entirely from scratch means choosing an architecture that remains connected to the history of the place.

The project therefore preserves part of the existing structure while allowing for contemporary reconstruction where necessary. This combination of existing architecture, preservation and new construction gives the residence its unique character.
